Stefano has a background in ICT blue chips and FTSE250 companies, as well as in growing companies and start-ups in technology-intensive and innovative sectors (e.g., Manufacturing, Drones/IoT, AI, GreenTech, Insure/FinTech).

An engineer by education, product manager by role and expert at achieving growth by career, Stefano has an outstanding track record in business strategy, operations, product and marketing, with extensive P&L management and international expansion experience.

He has a proven international and inter-cultural experience in managing, developing and leading cross-functional teams.

He launched Eggcelerate to help small B2B businesses experiencing flat-lined results achieve focus and sustainable growth.

Stefano is an Executive MBA graduate of the London Business School and a published author (Forbes, The Guardian, The Times/Raconteur and various SME-focused publications) on topics from Strategy to People and Operations.

Stefano’s achievements include:

  • Transforming and rejuvenating the commercial strategy of companies, so their products and services deliver growth in mature markets.
  • Developing and launching new and innovative business propositions; crafting and executing strategies, and introducing new ways of partnering with niche players and start-ups.
  • Defining expansion strategies in new markets in Europe, the US, Latin America and Asia.
  • Pioneering the SaaS business model with start-ups in early 2000s Italy.

Passionate about helping companies to succeed with their business challenges in effective and profitable ways

Seamus has managed payments and cash management solutions for multinational corporations and financial institutions.  At regulated Fin-tech businesses, he first led development and commercialisation of a supply chain finance product and then operational transformation at a merchant acquirer.

His specialities are design, development and business process re-engineering for financial services, primarily related to payments and working capital management. For most of his career, he managed innovation and change in complex, multi-jurisdiction environments such as J.P. Morgan, Price Waterhouse Coopers and Exxon.  

His ability to translate complex business needs for technologists, and vice-versa, was crucial for initiatives to change organisations in multiple countries, manage projects in various industries and drive the development of technology across global teams. In his spare time, he volunteers as Treasurer for the local school’s Parent-Teacher Association and the local rugby club.  He enjoys being physically fit though that can sometimes conflict with his gastronomic passions.

She works with tech-based or tech-enabled companies who are looking to disrupt their industries, but know that people are at the centre of their success and help them manage their teams to:

  • Create some boundaries, but not cages
  • Know they are acting for a purpose
  • Determine which part they play, that what they receive enables them and what they produce is useful
  • Have autonomy over how and when they produce

She has over 15 years’ experience in scaling international business functions for technology companies, within their support and consultancy organisations.

Ghilaine is a graduate of London College of Fashion (now part of University of the Arts: London) with a degree in Product Development.

Marc Duke specialises in business-to-business marketing primarily with emerging technology companies. Marc has over fifteen years marketing experience, helping businesses grow through generating brand awareness by understanding their products/technologies while providing the marketing know-how to reach their customers in a focused and cost effective way.

Marc offers companies a mix of strategic and tactical marketing, covering areas such as PR, social media marketing, content creation, events, analyst/influencer relations, and speaker opportunities.

He has worked with accelerators, start-ups and established vendors including Pelipod, Sentiment, Certivox, Comeet, Loquiz, IdeaPlane, PNMSoft, QualiTest, Ensighten, Demandware, Palmtree Technology, Celltick, Celaton, Clearswift, and Adobe.

Marc is a Chartered Marketer with a CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing; he is a graduate of Imperial College, London with a degree in Chemistry with Management.

We are delighted that Martin Mackay has joined our Advisory Board, where his skills and knowledge will benefit Eggcelerate as we grow our business.

Martin has experience at Global CEO and Board level in the technology industry, leading early stage and multinational businesses. He has a successful track record of business transformation with broad M&A, investing and successful exit experience.

He’s also an advisor to early-stage technology companies on strategy and sales and marketing processes.

Martin has experience as Chief Revenue Officer at Versa Network and SVP EMEA at Proofpoint. Previously, Martin led CA Technologies’ business in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), where he successfully rebuilt the management team, transformed the go-to-market model and changed the overall reputation of CA in the region.

Before joining CA Technologies, Martin was CEO of Experior Group, a privately held consultancy focused on making SAP projects successful. Prior to that, he led as CEO of the successful trade sale of Neverfail Group. He has also covered the CEO position at Calyx Managed Services, which he led shortly after the company emerged from administration to growth and profitability over an 18-month period.

He has also held positions at VeriSign, before the acquisition by Symantec, NorthgateArinso, Accenture, Dun & Bradstreet, PeopleSoft, Add Partners and Vecta Software.

Martin holds a degree in Modern Languages from Oxford University.
